The creative spirit lives inside every human being. We are all makers. I want a safe space where kids have the opportunity to imagine, create, and make through structured and unstructured projects designed to teach them the foundations of the tools they are using. I believe it is imperative that we create spaces for enrichment and innovation beyond the classroom. Hands on workshops and STEM challenges allow kids to be engaged and active learners while learning craftsmanship and social skills that will serve them for the rest of their lives. It provides and opportunity for imagination, planning, failure, and follow through. The ultimate goal is for participants to create, tinker, try new things, be challenged, problem solve, think critically, fail, persist, use their hands, and most importantly have fun!
